Raised as a small but nimble coffee farmer (none of this is true), Emerson Boatwright envisioned artistic grandeur from the humble trimmings of his childhood home in the Smokey Altadena Foothills (so many fires). Slowly he jazz handled his way to the top while studying mouth sounds and musical inkblots at Columbia College Chicago. He currently lives under the Hollywood sign making tourists answer cryptic riddles or pay him money for safe passage.
